Following seven years of serving in pastoral staff positions in Colorado and Michigan, the Lord led Pastor Jason Knight to plant the Heartand Baptist Church of Marysville in the fall of 2005. Pastor Knight is a graduate of Northland Baptist Bible College. He is married and has four children.

The Heartland Baptist Church is a community of saved and baptized believers whose aim it is to evangelize the lost, stabilize and strengthen fellow saints, and to multiply Spirit-filled servants in Christ’s kingdom and for His praise. Heartland began holding weekly services in the Fall of 2005 and was officially chartered as a church in August of 2006.
